About us.

We are an Ofsted registered Preschool Nursery, Our nursery has been established for over 40 years. We are a charity led setting with a volunteer committee of parents who oversee the running of the nursery. We encourage and welcome parents to join the committee

We take children ages 2 to 4 years old and we are a term time only setting. Our main purpose for our preschool is to create a welcoming and homely environment in which children can play, learn and develop skills in which will help your child grow through life.

All staff have safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene training. We use the EYFS framework to track children’s development progress and plan appropriate activities based on their age, stage and interest's, we use the app Tapersty to help log our observations on our children. We encourage parents input and welcome ideas to enhance children's learning. We also hold parents evenings for parents and carers to discuss their child’s development with their key worker. In addition to this we often have themed stay and plays for parents,grandparents or other family members close to the child to come and spend some time in the setting.
